This Week’s iPhone Charts: Sniper, No Sniping!

There’s something magical about shooting stick figures in the head from extreme distance. After years of being persecuted by these two-dimensional, monochrome tyrants, humanity is finally rising up at taking back their dignity. Pure fiction, but it helps me justify two separate Clear Vision sniper titles on the iPhone paid charts — one in the top spot.

I suppose the fact that they’re also pretty damn fun helps. They don’t need to ride on a ridiculously popular cartoon like Fionna Fights – Adventure Time or a mediocre superhero movie like The Amazing Spider-Man. Good for them.

Last week’s clone situation seems to have resolved itself, with the clone of What’s the Word? renaming itself — and keeping the top free spot in the process. Oh well.
