Look, I’ve always tried to be open minded about Facebook games. I totally played Bubble Witch Saga, because I don’t want to be the kind of guy who writes things off before trying them myself, but come on! An animated Farmville series? Is this necessary? And produced by Brett Ratner? What the hell is going on here!

‘Brand’, ‘cross-platform, ‘expanding’, ‘engaging’. These are the words that herald our doom. Say those words in front of the mirror and Brett Ratner will appear behind you in a cloud of smoke and sweaty dollar bills. He will haunt your nightmares. He will smother your family while they sleep. He will create a half-hour long animated Farmville series. He will do that and then he will drink your orange juice straight from the carton.
