Check Out This Awesome Earthbound MiiVerse Fan Art

This past week saw the release in Japan of Earthbound(Mother 2) on the Wii U’s virtual console. To celebrate, Nintendo released a special episode of Retro Game Master (GameCenter CX) and even did a three-and-a-half hour playthrough of the game with Itoi, the game’s writer and director. The one other big thing they did was add Mother 2 to the MiiVerse.

Trawling through the Mother 2 MiiVerse has proven more than a little interesting. Besides the run-of-the-mill comments and the tons of English-speaking fans demanding an international release is something amazing — scores of Earthbound fan art drawn via the Wii U controller. This fan art comes in all kinds of different styles and features all your favourite Earthbound characters — including, of course, Ness and the ever popular Mr Saturn.
