Gameloft's World Of Warcraft Clone Already Has A Collectible Card Game Spin-Off

Gameloft has gotten so good at making mobile clones of popular games it's now cloning games from the future. This morning, Blizzard announced Hearthfire: Heroes of Warcraft, a digital collectible card game based on characters from World of Warcraft. Yesterday, Gameloft released Order & Chaos Duels, a digital collectible card game based on characters based on World of Warcraft characters.

Let me clarify. Order & Chaos Online is Gameloft's mobile MMO, an obvious copy of World of Warcraft, right down to the character art. Order & Chaos Duels is a free-to-play collectible card game for iPhone, iPad and Android, with mechanics quite similar to the physical World of Warcraft card game. It's a rather solid little title, with an expansive campaign and plenty of opportunities for online domination.

And it's from the future.

I don't know how you did this Gameloft, but the Time Variance Authority has been notified.

I think the title should be 'Look, another generic fantasy card game! Just like the boring old same old same old one Blizzard announced this morning!'

Wait. I don't know where I'm going with this. Anyway, the WoW card game looks like the millions of other clones. This is just one of those clones it's imitating.

The title could also be "Blizzard's new game announcement was just a reaction to a competitor's game!" or "Blizzard is cloning the clone! WoW-inspired digital card game already exists!"

But anyway, I think this seems pretty generic. I'll stick to my Pokemon TCGs, thanks.

You should probably update the body of this text: It's Hearthstone, not Hearthfire...

Next there will be a animated TV series based on the collectible card game spinoff that in turn will be made into a feature length movie and then they'll make an MMO based on that movie...
