Infinite Crisis Turns The DC Comics Multiverse Into A MOBA Battleground

You'll get to have multiple versions of the Dark Knight fighting against each other later this year when the just-announced Infinite Crisis comes to PCs later this year. The MOBA title is being developed by Turbine.

Here's what the press release says:

Infinite Crisis is a new entrant into the wildly popular MOBA genre that delivers a heart-pounding competitive player vs. player battle experience set in the legendary DC Multiverse — a world in which familiar DC Comics characters have been reimagined in startling ways. Featuring a wide variety of DC Comics heroes and villains, Infinite Crisis puts players in control of twisted incarnations of their favourite characters throughout the Multiverse such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman, playing in league with well-known characters including Green Lantern and The Flash.

Man, I hope they put the Black President Superman from last year's Action Comics #9. That guy rocked. What alt versions of DC Comics characters do you want to see?

Is MOBA actually a popular genre, or is this like MMO's trying to get some of WoW's success and then failing? Because as far as I know the only real big Mobas are LoL and Dota 2, the rest are just vaguely successful.

It seems to be huge, which for me makes no sense.
its a very boring game play type IMO, not a huge fan of wait and do nothing, only attack when you know u will get the last hit/credit, then waste a player who's at his weakest with you're most powerful spell/attack.

Definitely not my type of game, but i have mates that play nothing else and they love it.

How many more ASSFAGGOTS are there gonna be, it's like wow all over again.

The gameplay is deeper than what you guys are saying, dota for example has a Deep meta and strategy and each character brings something to the table.

Obviously mobs is the new mmo but it has way more of a Lear ing curb and skill ceiling than mmo pvp.

Even though I'm a marvel fan, I'll probably play it
