Iron Man 3 Isn't Called Iron Patriot 3, But The Latter Gets His Own Action Figure

He's a supporting character, second fiddle to Downey Jnr's gold-riddled heroics, but when it comes to flag-waving, robot suit ass-kicking, nobody does it more American than Don Cheadle's Iron Patriot. Hot Toys is releasing this figure based on the suit, and while it will miss the theatrical release of the movie, it's nice enough to wait for.

Selling for $US310 on Sideshow's site, he doesn't come with much gear (just some interchangeable hands and head), but that's made up for with the fact just about everything on him lights up like a Christmas tree.

Iron Patriot [Sideshow Collectibles]

Needs obamas signature scrawled across his face so it can look even more crap.

      You have no taste

        Agreed thermo.
And Chrobaciky I'll think you'll find that Iron Patriot is a Republican.

hate to point something out here, but Iron Patriot isn't Don Cheadle... Don Cheadle's character was War Machine.

Iron Patriot was a suit worn by Norman Osborne.

That's obviously not the case in the movie canon. War Machine wasn't even a proper name in Iron Man 2, it was just a dialogue reference. As the Iron Patriot, Rhodes would have more of a public presence and I can imagine the name being something that people actually used.
