Pay What You Want For Bastion (And Support Worthwhile Charities)

Today Supergiant Games announced its new game Transistor, which is looking very snappy indeed, but let’s not forget its debut game Bastion — the critically acclaimed RPG that used sound and voiceover in a completely unique and innovative way. Today Bastion is under the spotlight at the Humble Weekly Sale. You can pay what you want for the game, as low as $1US…

But here’s the deal: the more you pay for the game the more you get over and above Bastion itself. And the more you pay the more you support charities like Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It’s a win-win!

That’s if you don’t have Bastion already, of course! I can’t think of a single game that has been on sale more since its release! I was never a huge fan of the game, but I’m in the minority with this one. Most normal human beings I know loved the game and it won a Reader’s Choice award here at Kotaku back in 2011. This is good a chance as any to remind yourself of how talented the team at Supergiant Games is.

Thanks VG247
