Wow! Now I can buy a 2.5 year old game on Wii U, which i've bought on Steam for $7.50!
I thought the Wii U was supposed to be next gen? Further proof that this console is 5 years too late.

What's sad is that this game will probably be at least $75 RRP, ie. at least 10x more than picking up a PC copy. It's the Arkham City thing all over again. Who buys a Wii-U to play a 3rd party games years late with a hefty premium.

I'm pretty sure I bought this for my brother a few weeks ago for less that ten dollars, with all the dlc. Seems like a failure brewing.

It is a good game, I just really doubt it has enough new content to warrant a US $50 price tag.

Will probably pick this up if it's good, missed it first time around.

Hard to imagine there being a lot of people who want this but don't already have it.

And unless these new features and content are really significant, it's hard to imagine why anybody would buy this version at that price when it can be had for a fraction of that on Steam, 360 or PS3. Hell, it was free on PS+ a while back.

Correction - why release older games on a newer system - is it to prove to gamers that it can run full games? I'm pretty sure most wii u owners only have one for the exclusives like mario and monster hunter.

This game isnt being made or published by Nintendo. Nintendo has nothing to do with this game. This is being published by Square Enix (as far as i am aware).

It is dissappointing an old game is being ported, we have to see what they have added to the game to gauge if its worth a look in. Must have some decent changes to do it, no point in wasting the resources on a half assed port of an old game because if it is then no one would be buying it. Plus with this game making it on the Wii U the chance of the new Dues Ex games making its way on the Wii U is pretty high which is always a good thing.

Is there a new Deus Ex game in the works? I thought that team was now making the new Thief game?

Nintendo doing this? I thought Square-Enix was the publisher. Just as EA was the publisher for Mass Effect 3. And Warner Bros for Batman. Etc etc.

$14 at JB, has been for weeks. Im genuinely interested in picking it up but ive been told that there are boss fights that make a lot of character builds and concepts impossible. So im still on the fence.

You should. It's a really good game, and the boss fights only make up a very small portion of it. The fights themselves aren't actually terrible, and there's plenty of strategies for defeating them that I imagine work with most specs.
