We've Seen A Lot Of Love For BioShock Infinite

We've seen a lot of love for BioShock Infinite. Now we're also seeing a fair amount of praise for this critical review of Infinite.

It's a smart, sceptical read from the Gameological Society's John Teti, who calls the game "primarily a disappointment in light of its pedigree". (Or, if you just want to read a joke negative review, there's this one on Amazon.)

Hey! What's up with that front cover? Looks like a bad Call of Duty rip off.

Also, why isn't it called Aeroshock?

yeh worthy of the praise so far I think. I just started playing briefly last night (am yet to meet Elizabeth) and I gotta say, those dev's at Irrational are sure a creative lot. The game is just so unique, it's unlike anything else out there at the moment.

One thing that I'm wondering about, is there an explanation where Vigors come from? In Bioshock 1, Plasmids come from sea slugs if i remember? It's just funny in the game when Booker come's across a Vigor bottle and is like "hmm what does this do? Might as well drink it" ARGHH POWERS!

If you read the review this article is about it talks about the place vigors do/don't have in the universe of Infinite.

ahh yep, did read that after posting.. yeh I definately feel it should be more integrated into the story like Bioshock 1. I hear the Bioshock series is planned as a new franchise with a release cycle similar to GTA, and each game will be different stories but share similar things (so an FPS with special abilities set in a trippy/steampunk inspired location).

Maybe he's a fan of Rogue?
