While You Were Sleeping: PAX Edition

Happy Saturday friends! While you were sleeping I was trawling the halls of PAX East here in Boston, throughout the day there will be posts! Australian posts! I know, crazy right? Anyway — if you’ve just woken up there’s been a fair amount of breaking news from this year’s PAX East, so this is a quick round up of what went down while you were catching Zs.

So there were two, I would argue, ‘big’ announcements at at PAX East so far. The first was a new project from Blizzard called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. You can get all the details on this new game here and you can watch a game in progress if you click on this link.

That’s all well and good, but having known that Blizzard was going to announce ‘something’ for a while now, I have to admit I felt a little let down. I was hoping for something a little ‘bigger’. Thankfully my disappointment was buoyed by the announcement that Capcom was caving to our collective nostalgia and bringing back DuckTales. Yes. Truly, this day has been a duck blur.

What else? Well this is the new Kingdom Hearts HD trailer, and while this review of IGN’s exclusive review of BioShock Infinite isn’t really a PAX story, it’s still funny and you should still check it out!
