All I Really Need To Know I Learned From Playing LucasArts Games

I played a whole lot of LucasArts games growing up. Like, a lot. I used to look forward to getting the company catalogue, The Adventurer, in the mail.

I knew all the sword-fighting insults by heart. Sam and Max taught me to love words. Hell, I even got made fun of by crappy playground bullies for publishing a positive review of Day of the Tentacle in my school paper.

Those games meant a lot to me and so I was sad to hear it when Disney closed the studio down earlier this week. In the video above, I look at some of the valuable life lessons my young mind absorbed from LucasArts adventure games. It’s no wonder I turned out the way I did!
