As soon as the Oculus Rift came out, you knew it was going to happen. This guy (Cymatic Bruce) is running a Virtual Boy emulator on the headset, playing Insane Mouse Mansion.

Same here. With that headline I was expecting stereoscopic schlongs as far as the eye could see.

Back in the old days there were Johnsons as far as the eye could see.
And what a lovely sight it was. 🙂

Pretty sure it’s actually called ‘Innsmouth Mansion’ – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innsmouth_no_Yakata

Was wondering a similar thing too. Though the english name I’d heard was “The Mansion of Insmouse”.
But googling for “insane mouse mansion” shows that the game’s ROM seems to be floating around with the above name, so I guess that’s where he’s pulled it from.

I’m really trying to stop rationalising it as just a gen 1 v gen 2 console thing. Thinking of the developer version as a next gen console and the consumer version as the generation after.
It’s really hard to not justifying paying less for the developer version than a next gen console and treating it as such.

If your pc can’t run 720p x 2 @ 60+ FPS then yes.
It takes a pretty decent specked PC to run well.
That said, it’s a person to person thing too, some people just can’t handle the immersion, usually, they’re the ones you see on the side of the road spewing.
