Square Enix’s 3DS role-playing game Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is coming to the West later this year. North America will get the game in 2014.
Nintendo will publish the game along with Square Enix. Described by some players as a spiritual successor to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light and a throwback to classic Final Fantasys, Bravely Default has been a critical success in Japan, and fans have been asking Square Enix for a Western release for quite some time now.
So, to Square and Nintendo: thanks for listening!
I want type 0!
Still hurts 🙁
***Happy Dance!***
Wait west and north america is not the same thing?
Well normally they are, but nowadays people are using the term west to mean “outside Japan”.
So Europe is getting it this year and NA is getting it next year. As for us? Who knows, but probably around the same time as Europe.
Im assuming too that we’re getting it the same time as EU
The first good decision squareenix have made in years, about bloody time if you ask me.
Woo! Finally, something we beat America in getting. I’ve been keen for this game after hearing it was by the guys that did Four Heroes of Light and that they’re doing a similar battle system. I really enjoyed it and had hoped other games would try similar things.
What do you mean? Don’t remember Xenoblade, Last Story and Pandora’s Tower? Europe and Australia got those way before the U.S. In fact, we’re just NOW getting Pandora’s Tower.
Yes yes yes!!!
