Building You A Retro Adventure, One Level (And Awesome Song) At A Time

This is Rogue Legacy, a game that looks tough as nails, but seems to have a heart of gold. Billed not as rogue-like (which are normally brutal) but as a rogue-lite (there’s still permadeath, but “with each passing your lineage grows and becomes stronger”), it looks great.

And it sounds great too, courtesy of a soundtrack done by Judson “Tettix” Cowan, whose work on Solace we covered a few weeks back.

Rogue Legacy is currently up on Steam Greenlight, but the devs say “The game is virtually done, so we’ll get it out as soon as it’s Greenlit.”
