Yes!!
I loved this game and remember spending many, many hours on the old Mega Drive, marvelling at the amazing setting and story. Hope they do it justice. -

I had the PC version as a kid. Cool intro cinematic, i remember thinking “Wow! Check out these graphics!” But alas i never finished it. I found it frustrating, but not in a good way.

I remember playing this on my SNES.
Totally keen to replay this. Looks like I will buy a game this year for my PS3 after all.

Here’s hoping they do it Justice, and then “Rinse n Repeat” the treatment to “Another World”

They should be doing Another World first. Wasn’t Flashback a kind of pseudo-sequel to that?

Yes, Another World was technically the 1st of the “Series” and, IMO, one of the best games of its era

There’s really no connection between Another World and Flashback, other than that they were for some time the only two games in this particular sub-genre of platforming. Blackthorne and Oddworld are both similar in style.

Another World does not, and will never need a remake.
It has so much zeitgeist. Part of its appeal is the styling and design that still hold its own today 20 years after it was made. That can’t be recreated.
I’m definitely interested in this Flashback remake though.

To be honest mate, I think I agree with you
The artistic direction, and its execution, really does not need to be remade.

God, Flashback was amazing back on my Amiga. I remember recording the music to cassette so I could listen to it when I wasn’t playing.
