How To Make My Little Pony Cuter: Give It A Japanese Theme Song

Today, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic finally debuted in Japan. The name of the show is My Little Pony ~Tomodachi wa Mahou~ (マイリトルポニー〜トモダチは魔法〜). That last part means, “friends are magic”. They are!

The show is also getting its own theme song, “Mirai Start” (ミライスタート) or “Future Start”. Voice actress Suzuko Mimori, who also voices Pinkie Pie, sings it. Have a listen.

You can also hear the ending theme (below), which is sung by idol group HKT48. The name of the song is “Kataomoi no Karaage” (片思いの唐揚げ), and it’s about declaring your love.
