The official Deus Ex Facebook page has posted the above image, promising that the “World’s first look at Deus Ex: Human Defiance” will come “TOMORROW!” (their caps, not mine).
I know, I know, tomorrow is April 1. While the page is official, it could just mean this is an official joke.
Assuming it’s not a joke, though, given how nonchalant that announcement is, you’d be excused for thinking it’s some peripheral project, like a tie-in anime or art book, but nope. When one of the first commenters on the page says it had “Better be a game and not a movie”, the site’s author replies “Oh, it is!”
Whether it’s an expansion to the 2011 smash, an all-new title or a very cruel April Fools’ joke, either way, you’re getting new Deus Ex content, and you’re going to see it tomorrow.
