   what’s any different that it being 70 in Australia? It’s regional pricing, don’t like it then go to a CDkey site and get the cheap as shit Russian version.

         I get it, it has nearly every other language on earth in the game except Japanese. Again, this isn’t abnormal for Japan to be screwed like this. A Japanese company making Japanese consumers pay more, sounds like a Japan problem.

            And we shouldn’t care about it? We get it, you don’t give a shit so long’s it doesn’t affect you but think about the bigger picture. If they can get away with then what else can they get away with? If the whole world actually gave a shit about Australian pricing issues, don’t you think publishers would think twice about charging us this much? But nope, they don’t because it’s one country making some noise. It’s people with perspectives like yours that let these companies get away with crap like this.

               It’s because of people like me that companies DON’T get away with it, because I actually go out of my way to not give them money when they do over charge… which is the opposite of most people who complain, they whinge then mosey on down the EB and pay double. I don’t complain about it, because I’m not effected by it, I just do not give them my cash, which is the only way they will ACTUALLY learn.

      Yeah that’s what I got from the looks of this as well; that is unless they jack up the steam price of the game before you buy the language pack or something.

      I guess it’s easy to overreact when you first see this, but then you realise that they even out to be the exact same price…. So if anything, this is actually an awesome deal for Japanese gamers that understand English (because they can get it $30 cheaper).

   Japanese owned company charging Japanese people to have a game in Japanese. I know it wasn’t made by a Japanese branch but still it is funny.

   From what I hear, the vast majority of Japanese people don’t really play games on PC anyway. Other than MMOs. But it sure sucks for those who do.

   Media is way more expensive in Japan, for no apparent reason. Some Studio Ghibli DVDs are $40 for the standard edition.
   A second hand box set for a series of a Japanese TV show can easily cost $100. Western box sets, with Japanese dubs and subtitles, are probably half that or less. It’s ridiculous what the Japanese media companies get away with.
