You may remember the Angry Video Game Nerd — he’s the guy who used to eviscerate old, terrible Nintendo games for fun. Now he has his own video game.
Alright, imagine what you might expect from a video game based on a human being who discusses old NES games. Imagine what kind of game they might make.
— Chip tunes. CHECK
— 8-bit visuals. CHECK
— Looks and plays like a generic NES game. CHECK
It actually looks like a bit of fun, and I’m sort of hoping that the game is self consciously bad — that would make a lot of sense. For once I’m actually looking forward to playing a strange bug-ridden mess!
It’s set for release sometime this year.
