Thief 4 Concept Art Is, Yes, Very Dark

Back in 2011, I did an illustrative feature on Nicolas Ferrand, a concept artist at Eidos Montreal. At the time, I said he was working on Thief 4, but wasn’t allowed to show any of his stuff for that project. Now, two years later, he can.

While it’s only three images, they’re more than enough to get the point across: that while we’re yet to see anything meaningful from the game itself, at least the art team knew they had to focus on darkness and chandeliers.
