Yep, Injustice: Gods Among Us Has Now Officially Broken Street Date

Ho hum — another day another broken street date. This time it’s the turn of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Early reports stated that JB Hi-Fi had been selling copies of the game today, ahead of it’s official release on Wednesday. Most likely this was in response to another store in the vicinity selling early, you should know how these things go by now!

Anyway — Electronics Boutique has now tweeted stated they are now officially selling, which most likely means that Warner Bros. has now given them permission to sell across Australia.

Go get em folks!

    the blackest night DLC looks like crap, and nothing at all like the actual blackest night comic costumes, so i’d go Arkham city personally.

the game wasn’t “strict” release dated, it was listed as just ‘release’ date. which means you put it out as soon as you get them.

I work for JB Hifi @ Chatswood Chase and it was actually a Gametraders store in the area that broke street date because they had imported versions of the game to sell. No biggy super excited its released.

just picked up my pre order of injustice today from EB. These next 50 minutes till I finish work and get home are going to be absolute torture.

Oh and in case your wondering the manual is pitiful. they have a 4 divided page manual. so 8 pages, what a waste.

However I have the red son DLC and the $10 season pass EB are offering too since I will just cancel batman arkham origins next week

    Because I am yet to complete Arkham asylum or city. I own asylum however when I think I should complete it, I end up playing another game. I even like asylum but I just haven’t been bothered finishing it

Why oh why couldn’t it have broken street date at 9:00am this morning when I was in Tamworth. I don’t want to have to drive another 5 hours for a game so soon >.

gah damn I cant get my Red Son code to work. it tells me my code is incorrect. How can I be screwing up a 12 digit code???

  I cant get the new 52 DLC atm either, im assuming since its not official release date maybe the DLC servers arent fully up and running yet, i had the same issue when i got Arkham city early, after the release date it worked without issue.

Thank you for updating me on this last night! I went straight to Strand Arcade JB Hi-Fi in Sydney and demanded they sell it to me immediately.
The man said: “No, no, no. Absolutely not.”
I said: “Check your computer buddy, release date has been broken. It’s chaos out there.”
“Someone’s gonna get fired.”…tap, tap, tap on the keyboard…”You’re right. :(”
“Get me my game mufuka.”
What ensued was 3 hours of drinking Jack Daniels, coke and enjoying one of the most exciting fighting games I believe has ever been released.
This is a must buy for any gamer.

wellt he story mode is a tad disappoining only because I really wanted a Batmand vs Superman showdown.

Apart from the juggle combos feeling a little stiff, my Red Son DLC code not working, this is a really super sweet bit of fan service brought to us by fans.

also the non fighting characters lack polygons. there I said it. the non fighters just dont have enough attention to detail on them.

I will try the red son DLC tomorrow on the day the game was meant to be released before I go moaning to WB

If the games not released yet and you are trying to use a DLC code for that game before release date it won’t work. Everything gets activated on release day.
