Rayman Legends Coming September 3, Including A Version For Vita

It was supposed to be a Wii U exclusive, but now Rayman Legends -- after that controversial delay -- will be coming to a total of four systems on September 3. Along with Nintendo’s home console, the action platformer will be hitting the PS3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita.

The version for Sony’s handheld will include five exclusive maps where you’ll be able to control green fly character Murphy and Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell costumes for Rayman and Globox. The game will be out in the EMEA region on August 29 and in the UK on August 30.

Good idea. looking forward to it!

This version I don't mind seeing as it could be more faithful to the Wii U version than the 360/PS3 version due to the fact that it has a touch screen and honestly it should have been with the Vita from the start.

My biggest worry with this right now is that the Wii U version of the game will be neutered of its touch screen features in most levels in order to reach the needs of the PS360 crowds

Ok, so you updated the article but you also need to update the heading. Legends is coming out in August in Australia.

I thought the Wii U version was supposed to be the definite version with exclusives and such because the game was meant to be Wii U exclusive and long released by now.

Was meant to be, then they doubled back on it at the last second leaving Ninty fans in the lurch and incredibly frustrated as a result. Poor form.

Chuck in a cross buy feature so I can buy it for PS3 and get a free Vita version and I'm sold!

Vita version will be the best Version!

YOPO with the PSV/3 version would be the ultimate icing on the cake!
