A New Look And Game For One Of The Most Successful Women In Gaming

With more than 700 million downloads between PC and mobile, the Diner Dash franchise is one of casual gaming’s biggest success stories. That success is largely due to series’ hero Flo, so I won’t begrudge her a makeover to go with tomorrow’s release of Diner Dash Rush.

Flo has come quite a long way since her 2004 debut. She’s grown a nose, adjusted her hairline, lost the pencil — but deep down inside she’s still the same business ex-banker turned small business owner who launched the hottest food service simulation since Tapper.

Tomorrow Flo and PlayFirst launch Diner Dash Rush, a new mobile game for iOS. It features the same core gameplay that made the series such a big hit, with fresh features like timed rounds, weekly leaderboards and a “Happy Hour” bonus round, complete with disco lights.

Diner Dash Rush will be available for free on iTunes today. Loving the new look, Flo.
