E3 is just one big giant field trip for Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata, Reggie Fils-Aime and — lurking in the background — Shigeru Miyamoto. The three senior company figures were clowning around with a giant statue promoting Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Let’s hope they don’t post a follow-up picture featuring a smoking barrel-cannon and Miyamoto missing.

Not quite there yet, but soon it will be an exciting time to own a WiiU. I can’t wait!

I feel Nintendo did pretty well considering. While the initial Nintendo Direct was somewhat lacking, the follow up videos and media presented the last few days had been more than adequate.
I mean, have you seen the freaking lines at the Best Buys to try the new games?
