Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion Coming To Injustice As DLC

As previously rumoured, the undead ninja from the iconic Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise will be showing up as a downloadable add-on for Injustice. Scorpion shows up to bedevil the heroes and villains of the DC Comics universe for $US4.99/400 Microsoft points.

The video above shows superstar comics artist and DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee talking with NetherRealm studio head Ed Boon about Lee’s re-design of Scorpion. You also get a glimpse of Scorp fighting Blackest Night Superman. With a T-for-Teen rating from the ESRB, Injustice isn’t quite as gory as the MK games. That’s a shame because it’d be great to see how Aquaman reacts Scorp’s fire-breathing fatality.
