The Next Game From The Makers Of Rock Band Is Fantasia: Music Evolved

If I had the power of Disney's legendary sorcerer Yen Sid, the first thing I would do is break out the Bruno Mars and take control of the beat. And I would look freaking spectacular doing it.

Fantasia: Music Evolved is coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, courtesy of the music masters at Harmonix. We'll have more on the game later today. Until then, bask in the power of the ultimate jazz hands.

Here's the official press release:

Take away all the fancy visuals and effects in the trailer and youre left with people flailing their arms around. Not much of a game there.
Its basically just playing a song and you can adjust the tempo or pitch of the it. Pretty ordinary. Even a kid would be bored of it after 10 minutes.

Take away the fancy visuals of any other game trailer and you have people fiddling with a plastic lump?

The problem with these trailers, is they really don't show anything.. worthwhile. And not everybody will like the selection of songs ( I hate Bruno Mars's music, for example). So from this trailer, alone, this game will be crap.

I wish these companies would forget the marketing B.S. and just show some game play. A bunch of no-name dancers doesn't sell it, methinks.

So they stopped working on all future DLC for the awesome Rock Band franchise so they could make this shitty Kinect game? I've now completely lost all faith in Harmonix.

damn it, just make rock band 4 instead, for next gen with the ability to import all previous gen tracks into the new game
I just wanna rock out! I don't wanna wave my arms around
