When Gaming Gets Too Heavy, Nippon Ichi Brings The Happy

As I wade through the dark and depressing world of The Last of Us, I slowly fill with a sort of gloomy despair — a despair that can only be countered by anime frivolity and quick-time eating, courtesy of Nippon Ichi’s The Witch and The Hundred Knights for the PlayStation 3.

Due out in Japan next month and the West sometime before the end of days, The Witch and The Hundred Knights is an action role-playing game that looks and sounds like the game you see in the video, because it is that game. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on, but it makes me smile. It might also make me dance a little, but I admit nothing.

Hit up the North American website to make a little sense out of all of this. Or don’t.
