Crotchdot. You are the Chris Weidman to my Anderson Silva. You are the Andy Murray to my Novak Djokovic. You have knocked me out. You have broken my serve. On multiple occasions. Correct– Friday’s Scribble was indeed Silkworm. How did you get that man? How. Are you hacking my goddamn brain?
Anyway, good luck with today’s scribble! I have a feeling this will be guessed quickly, hope I’m proved wrong.
ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

Hmmm… Fantasy Zone?
Yoshi’s island?
biker mice from mars
Donkey Kong Country?
Worms!
Edit: Actually, found a pic, it’s Worms 2:

i get it now…. your Marks Tyler Durden!!!!
I looked at that hilly part and thought, yeah, that could be worms, but then I thought: what the hell is that stupid flowery thing, huh? Well played. Again.
That hill part was what gave it away in the end, the flower/tree seemed to be on the level, not part of the background. Originally I was thinking a side-scroller like Wonderboy, but the geometry just wasn’t right for jumping over.
We should rename this game to “Mark-Serrels-draws-pictures-for-crotchdot-taku”
Damn you! I had that one the instant I saw the pic!
If only I had something better to do than watch Dr Phil I may have checked Scribbletaku at midday on the dot.
Perhaps it is time for Scribbletaku to go the way of Remember This and be replaced with a new Friday challenge which crotchdot will turn out to be equally good at. Have we really had 289 Scribbletakus? How time flies!
Maybe the winner each day should nominate the next day’s ScribbleTaku. at least it will stop crotchdot from winning some of the Scribbletakus/
Er, new lunchtime challenge, not Friday challenge (what would we do Monday-Thursday otherwise?)
I thought it was Elder Scrolls Morrowind for sure. Given the high level of detail in the drawing…. can’t see how it could possibly be anything else?
Plot Twist: Crotchdot is really Mark’s alternate personality. His Jekyll to his Hyde (or the other way around depending on which one is evil)
Anyone ever notice how we never see Mark and Crotchdot in the same room at the same time? Exactly.
