Yesterday’s game was easy. Deliberately easy, so that I could lull you into a false sense of security. So from now on, things will be tougher, as I pass the drawing on to my kids and their very esoteric tastes. Can you guess today’s game?
Only one clue: It isn’t Vib Ribbon again, like it was yesterday.
ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

More challenge, pls
Bubble Bobble.
It’s lasted more than five minutes.
My work on this planet is done.
(that was not a hint.)
I choose to see this as a hint, and would like to change my answer.
It’s The Dig \o/
It’s a motion dance game. I’ll take every game with “Dance” in the title. Dance Central, just dance, dancestar party, dance dance revolution, Wii Dance (we dance), nikelodeon Dance.. now with Dora the explorer!
Hole in the Wall?
Warioware twisted
Looks like an Apple 2e game
I’ll just wait for crotchdot to get it right
It’s Thompson Twins Adventure.
Or @batguy.
I tried. I failed.
Though I think it must be some kind of rhythm or dancing game, like others have said. Elite Beat Agents?
I saw your first attempt, oh Scribbletaku Savant.

My guess?
I’m at something of a loss because my gut tells me it’ll be a DS/3DS game suitable for kids, which pretty much means nothing I’ve played except Pokemon. Something with a mother and child, I think – those figures seem to have dresses? Unless that’s part of the style… which could be a clue in itself. Distinctive edges separating legs.
Shrug. I give up. Paper Mario.
Biker Mice from Mars
Journey
Bust a Groove!
Wait – Space Channel 5!
I think you might have it, even if she’s gesturing to the opposite side:

How about Space Channel 5: Part 2, then.
If it’s Alex’s kids who are doing the drawings, we can almost guarantee that the picture will not look anything like the game.
“I pass the drawing on to my kids and their very esoteric tastes”
Hang on, that’s familiar!
“… one of my kids is strangely obsessed with it for whatever reason. I’m sure he’d be unhappy if I didn’t at least namedrop it.”
I’m guessing it’s International Victory Goal on the Sega Saturn.
Also, apparently, I’m a stalker.
Some of you are close. Some less so. I’m still waiting for the precise title.
Kinect Star Wars.
That is clearly a Wookie and a … um, thingie
I love this comment. So witty.
Dance Paradise?
Parappa the Rapper – though the head is too small.
As soon as that comes out on the store, that is a day 1 purchase.
Just Dance
Given that “some” people have been close, which implies greater than one person, I’m going to continue on the dance-movement type game.
Just Dance hasn’t yet been mentioned by name, although I think it displays dancers in a line, rather than a main dancer at centre and smaller dancer(s) along the bottom. I’ll still make that my guess. I can’t split it between 1-4 so hopefully franchise name is enough.
Edit: Rhythm Heaven / Beat The Beat ???
oh no. Just Dance did get mentioned, by knuddy, in amongst a whole slew of titles.
Hmm.
