Yep, Deadly Premonition Is Coming To Steam, Along With 13 Other Games

Rather impressively, it only took six days for the community to put Deadly Premonition on Steam. That’s pretty quick. Of course, SWERY’s quirky horror game isn’t the only title we’ll get to play on Steam thanks to Greenlight. There’s 13 other games (and two software titles) to look at, so let’s dive right in!

A Hat in Time

A 3D platformer in the spirit of Super Mario 64 with gorgeous cel-shaded graphics.

Among the Sleep

A first-person horror game with great emphasis on atmosphere and exploration, starring a two-year-old child.

BROFORCE

A “ridiculously violent” platformer with a penchant for humour and references to the eighties and nineties.

Centration

A multiplayer sci-fi first-person survival horror game with detailed, realistic simulation aspects and fully interactive environments.

Chasm

A side-scrolling action-RPG/Metroidvania inspired by both Diablo and Zelda.

Darkwood

A top-down survival horror game with procedurally generated environments and other roguelike elements, including permadeath.

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut

Access Games’ and SWERY’s rather unusual open-world horror game.

Divekick

A 2D fighting game with two-button controls and one-hit kills.

Operation Black Mesa

A heavily in-development Source engine conversion of Half-Life’s first expansion, Opposing Force, in the vein of Black Mesa.

Project Awakened

An ambitious “genre-defying” superhero game where you can create and customise your own hero.

Recruits

A top-down squad shooter inspired by Alien Swarm and Jagged Alliance with persistent, upgradable squad members whom you can permanently lose.

Rekoil

A multiplayer FPS with a focus on mod support and “pure gameplay.”

Shelter

A third-person adventure game where you play as a badger protecting her litter.

StarMade

A voxel-based space shooter with resource gathering, exploration, and the ability to design your own ship.

Two software titles also made it through Greenlight. These are:

Dexster Audio Editor

A fully-featured audio editing program with the ability to burn audio CDs.

GraphicEditor openCanvas

A drawing program similar to Photoshop which lets you easily record your drawing sessions.

So that’s it. Personally, I can’t wait to try Operation: Black Mesa. Here’s hoping it’ll be here soon!
