I’m not sure Chicago commuters were ready for those huge, hypnotising eyes when Luigi greeted them on the city’s L train, rebranded as the “Luigi” yesterday to celebrate the character’s 30th year. He spent the day seeing the city, enjoying its deep-dish pizza and riding its famous elevated rail line.
Nintendo documented the day on its Twitter feed and sent out several pictures of the fun. Most of them are zany, but that first one’s almost on a spiritual level.

I feel as though that woman in the white top is stalking him…she’s like in 3 of those photos. its a little distressing
Well spotted
Could be a handler from Nintendo. Full body cosplayers often have someone around to help with some of the fiddlier parts of getting around (for example, Luigi probably still needed a train ticket).
why? couldnt it just be all the photos are taken on the same train ride?
This is adorable.
