I Created The Most Hideous Gundam Ever

Gundam Breaker, the newest Gundam video game, is all about building your own custom Gundam. More often than not, however, they turn out to be completely hideous.

In the game itself, your character builds Gundam models. You can then take these models you make to the Gundam arcade and pilot them in a VR game. Winning battles in this game then nets you new pieces of various other Gundam models. And as the models all use the same basic framework, all these parts are interchangeable. This allows you — or rather encourages you — to make a Frankenstein’s Monster of a Gundam on which you are constantly switching out old parts for new ones. And while you can repaint the whole thing at any time, I found myself too lazy to waste five minutes painting every time I swapped out a part. This means my Gundam was often a less than pleasurable sight to behold.

Check out the video above to see the evolution of my hideous Gundam.

Gundam Breaker was released on June 27, 2013, for the PlayStation 3 in Japan. There is currently no word on a Western release.
