Nintendo DS game Daigasso! Band Brothers (aka Jam with the Band) is getting a sequel. It’s called Daigasso! Band Brothers P, with the “P” standing for “producer” and “professional.”
Like in the previous game, you can lay down tracks with various instruments. In the latest one, you can pick from 72 different instruments.
You can use your own voice and slap your photo on the in-game Mii to put yourself in Daigasso! Band Brothers P and then tune your voice with Vocaloid software, just like the pros.
Daigasso! Band Brothers P will be out this winter in Japan.

I played hours and hours of this game jamming with friends (8 players from one cart!!) with the original on DS…
My intense rage at region locking has thus reached a new height.
I’m not liking the look of those screenshots. A major part of Daigasso’s appeal to me is the buttons each representing the actual notes*. This has moved the notes to the touchscreen, and I don’t like it.
(the seven notes in an octave being represented by seven of the face buttons, with the eighth being the equivalent of the first note one octave higher)
HOORAY!
Another game I want but cannot play on 3DS! DAMN YOU TO HELL NINTY!!!! xD
