Lords Of The Fallen Introduces Us To Gaming’s Latest Badass

Meet Harkyn, a man who has just trudged across the world carrying an incredibly heavy-looking hammer, just to give a god’s fingers the finger. Harkyn is the main character of CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen, a new third-person action role-playing game that started as a stunning piece of concept art and then escalated to E3 screenshots.

He lives in a world where the gods have failed mankind and the populace is divided between those who follow the Fallen God (seen here in hand form) and those who’ve realised that Harkyn is the hero of the game and they should probably get in step. I mean, see what he does with that hammer?

Lords of the Fallen‘s development is being led by Tomasz Gop, former senior producer of The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, so he knows a thing or two about creating badass-powered action role-playing games.

CI Games will be showing off Lords of the Fallen this week during Gamescom, as well as next week during PAX Prime. I’m hoping it does so well that eventually they will have to start carting giant foam finger-mountains around to every trade show they attend.
