If you’re just joining me on the Banner Saga hype train, know that it’s a turn-based combat/strategy game and that it is already one of the most beautiful video games of all time. So any chance I get to post more art from the game, you can bet your shieldmaiden I’ll be doing just that.
While the game’s multiplayer has been out (and is free) for some time, the small team are still working on its core singleplayer component, which is what these images come from.
I don’t normally get to post screenshots in a feature ostensibly about video game art, but hey, that’s the beauty of this game. They’re one and the same.
If you’re heading to PAX on the weekend, the game will be in the Indie Megabooth, with a singleplayer demo available to try.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.
