Normally having gaps in your memory is a bad thing, but in the case of blayzeon’s sometimes-faulty memory? It’s pure entertainment.
You can see that in action in this Pokemon project, where blayzeon drew up all the original 151 Pokemon from memory — which we’ve seen before — but this time, there was no erasing. Whatever was drawn out in the first go is what the Pokemon gets to look like. Lookie here:
Granted, while some of these are (hilariously) off, most of them are still vaguely close, right? If not kind of cute. There’s more, too. Here’s second-gen Pokemon, drawn from memory without erasing:
Pretty fantastic. You can follow blayzeon’s work here.
So I drew the original 151 by memory without erasing [blayzeon]

Pretty good, my memory of the 2nd 100 is sadly a bit blurry.
Man that’s pretty good!
Mew looks like he’s been caught out doing something naughty.
I’d have to say that’s a brilliant job considering he/she doesn’t have perfect recall.
That’s not bad at all. I can’t even remember the names of some of them.
Cute, they even gave Delibird a wee present to carry, because it’s the present Pokémon (for whatever reason).
