It’s perhaps Halo’s most impractical and “unrealistic” (relative term!) weapon, but also one of its most iconic: the Needler, pointy purple death-dealer of the Covenant. A weapon which, for one show only, is making an appearance in the real world, courtesy of Volpin Props.
Volpin’s Harrison Krix put the thing together, giving it not just a proper finish but even adding wiring so it could glow like the “real” thing.

TAKE MY MONEY, TAKE IT!
One day, one day I may no longer find interlocking hexagons totally sweet. Today is not that day.
Damn would love one to go next to the mass effect gun replica
I think it is more realistic than other guns. It only shoots high-violate projectile that explode after a time delay. Fairly basic. OT I love the needler, my favourite gun. Very OP though.
They do home in on targets without any visible tracking mechanism though, which is certainly beyond today’s technology at the very least. I certainly wouldn’t call it impractical, nothing takes out an elite quite like a needler supercombinaton
the best thing about halo 2 was the ability dual wield the needler. soo soo sooooooo op
That’s shiny and cooool.
