‘I Am Street Fighter’ Doc Explores The Fighting Franchise For An Hour

Just in case Street Fighter didn’t get enough love during last year’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Capcom yesterday published the 72-minute documentary “I Am Street Fighter.” And it’s a doozy.
Created by Area 5, the video was actually originally included as part of the $US150 Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set. This is the first time it’s been made officially available to the public.

The film explores the games and fandom of Street Fighter and includes interviews with people important to the series, including producer Yoshinoro Ono. Hardcore fans, prepare to tear up or get goosebumps or however else your body responds to that fuzzy, nostalgic feeling — the documentary is subtitled “25 Years of Inspiration,” after all.
