I Want To Play The Real-Life Video Game They Built For Capture

The production team behind CW’s reality game show Capture created a high-tech wilderness compound, built their own cellular network, designed proprietary hardware and custom Android software, all so twelve teams of two can hunt each other down in the middle of the woods every Tuesday night. I really want to play this game.

Well, play might be a strong word. I wouldn’t mind being intimately involved behind the scenes, sitting behind a bank of computer monitors and doling out custom power-ups to younger, sleeker men and women traipsing through the forest in my stead. Perhaps I’d eat some trail mix in a show of support. Maybe a trail mix burger.

Truth be told, I’d never even heard of Capture until I saw this video, and now I really want to at least see it in action. Luckily, CW has full episodes available on the show’s website, and fresh one’s air every Tuesday. Oh hey, it’s Tuesday. *goes to make some trail mix burgers*
