Mighty Switch Force 2 Is Following Its Predecessor Onto Wii U

3DS eShop favourite Mighty Switch Force 2 is making its way to the Wii U’s digital storefront “by popular request,” Wayforward Technologies announced this week on its blog. The developer estimates that it will arrive in October.

The original Mighty Switch Force was similarly ported from 3DS to Wii U as Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition, which Kotaku declared to be one of the best Wii U games available. The port contained remixed levels from the original, so hopefully the sequel will get the same treatment.

That projected October release is too bad, though — a couple weeks earlier and Might Switch Force 2 could have gone toe-to-toe with GTA V.
