At Kotaku HQ we often receive press kits and these press kits are often packaged in interesting different ways in an effort to grab attention and, possibly, headlines. Today Warner Brothers sent one of those press kits. Usually I sort of push them aside and get on with my working day, but this one — for Batman: Arkham Origins — was just way, way too cool to ignore.
It came in this massive box…
Which I then opened.
A big bloody batarang. That’s pretty cool I thought. I decided to set it up.
And that’s when I turned the thing on — it plays the latest Arkham Origins trailer. Really loudly. Everyone in the office got a bit angry, so I turned it off.
These things must have cost a fortune to make and mail out. I imagine a fair amount of these things landed on people’s desks this morning. Usually new trailers come in an email, or on a USB stick. I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve had my video game assets delivered to me via Batarang. Pretty cool.
