The Best Game Trailers Are Set To '80s Power Ballads

After Saints Row 4, Stan Bush's "The Touch" makes yet another appearance in a video game context -- this time, the Shadow Warrior reboot's launch trailer. And it is glorious.

Indeed, Shadow Warrior is out and available, ready to be enjoyed by the blood- and old school FPS-hungry masses. It can be found on GOG, Steam and at Devolver Digital's site. We also have some impressions for you, in case you haven't seen 'em before.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to watching the trailer over and over work.

That final mission scenes in Saints Row IV were brilliant. The music, the lines ripped right from the movie and the fact they made it just like he was falling inside Unicron, lasers and all, just brought the absurdity together nicely.

Now if you'll excuse me Im off the youtube to binge on 80s music and cartoon opening.

I have never purchased a game just because of a trailer but I think this might be a good place to start.

Ahh another game that will be refused classification due to dismemberment...

nothing beats that song in its original context
