Titanfall Will Be Playable At This Year’s EB Games Expo

When I look back at E3 there were a couple of big AAA games that remain forged on my memory: Destiny was one of them, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was another. But up there, fighting for my game of show, was a game I thought I didn’t expect much from. That game was Titanfall. Now we’ve just learned that Titanfall will be publically playable at this year’s EB Games Expo, which starts October 4.

We’re not sure how many units will be available, but I’m going to guess it’ll be a decent number, considering that it’s a multiplayer focused game. The game will be played on PC but (I think this is the cool part) all units will be using Xbox One controllers. If you think I’m silly for getting excited about a controller you can judge me once you’ve used one. It’s a very, very good game controller.

This will be the first time the game has been shown in Australia. The game hasn’t even had a local showing for press yet, so that’s a pretty big deal.

I’m thinking this will most likely be the playable version of the game that was recently shown at PAX Prime, but I can’t be 100% sure of that.

Regardless, I’m genuinely excited to check the game out.
