What To Expect Out Of Battlefield 4's Beta

Battlefield 4 is scheduled to release on October 29 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, followed by the next-gen consoles in November, but you can start the battle earlier by taking part in the open beta for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 4.

I played a lot of the content you'll be seeing in the beta while I was over at Gamescom in Germany. Now that EA's also released a new trailer highlighting key features in the multiplayer, with extra information on how levolution will affect maps not previously shown before, I figured I should dissect some of that for you to show how these new features might change your playing experience.

You'll also get more input from me on what the maps for the beta are like, the game mode you'll be playing and some details on what it's like to play BF4 on the PS4.

Oh man. I just realised the next 8 weeks are going to be a real strain on the relationship...

I'll tell you what to expect. Me.

What to expect? Glitches and broken servers.

What to expect from the community? A lot of complaining because they're treating a beta as a finished product.

You're wrong mr video commentator guy.

The destruction in BC was awesome. It was truly dynamic. How much there was, was up to the players. It definately altered the way maps were played and kept you on your toes. You weren't just always approach the same part of a map the same way. You go into a building, you have no idea if you have cover. It was great!

Way better than the same event every round changing the map in the same way.

Closely, what I believe is for a game that trumpet group based play and teamwork over it, roughly 7 times out of 10, my party gets split upon entering a match. Usually takes 3-5 starts to lastly make it keen on a game again.
