Why So Serious, Retro Batman?

Why So Serious, Retro Batman?

Back in the day, there were plenty of 8-bit and 16-bit video games about Batman. But none of them retold the story of Christopher Nolan’s 2008 Bat-sterpiece The Dark Knight.

Here, from CineFix‘s 8-bit Cinema, is a re-creation of what just such a game would look like. I always enjoy how these guys’ videos re-create a film’s histrionic climaxes in such low-key, matter-of-fact ways. (And, yeah, despite their series name, this video looks more 16-bit than 8-bit. And “16-Bit Cinema” is even a soothingly sibilant alliteration! Oh, well.)
