Internet Don’t Need No Warcraft Movie Trailers, Internet Makes Its Own

Using only the sparse information provided so far by Blizzard and Legendary Pictures and a whole slew of fantasy movie clips, YouTube editor BloodRunsClear delivers his vision of what 2015’s World of Warcraft movie might look like.

Not a bad fake trailer, given the source material, which ranges from a commercial for a medieval festival to big-budget movies like The Hobbit and Thor: The Dark World. He’s even got some Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne cutscenes in there for good measure.

As a long-time player of the MMO, it’s all a bit too dark and gritty for my tastes. I was drawn to the game by its bright colours and cartoon aesthetics. I’d love to see something more along the lines of classic ’80s fantasy, with bright hues and giant shoulder pads. I would not be averse to Muppets. I might pay extra for them.
