And you thought guys only got into esports for the chicks.
Carlos “Ocelote” Rodriguez is 23 years old, and plays League of Legends for SK, a professional team from Europe. He’s good, very good, but he’s not one of the world’s best.
Not that it matters. According to a report on Spanish news site ABC, Rodriguez has turned his personal “brand” into a business worth up to $US950,000 a year.
Much of that is from merchandising, with the remainder from his competition winnings, streaming and sponsorship.
I’m starting to regret my decision to become a pro Crusader Kings II player.

Actually, I thought guys only got into esports for the ego trip. I still think that, for a lot of them.
Can confirm, Played tournaments for CoD4 (Yes, Yes I know) when that was big and the attitude of most other players was disgusting. However, I did meet some amazing people and are still friends with them now.
Oh God, of all people…
