As Kotaku reported on Wednesday, the PS4 launch game DriveClub was delayed to 2014. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed this on the Playstation Blog.
“DriveClub will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game,” writes Yoshida, “but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision — and I’m fully confident the game will surpass your expectations.”
Playstation Plus members’ Instant Game Collection will include Contrast to compensate for missing the PS4 launch, and DriveClub will be added as well when it is released.

Hahaha wow good work Sony #whatlaunchtitles?
If this keeps up there actually isn’t going to be any launch games on either console. We have now got Kinect sports rivals, watchdogs and this all delayed…
AS a side note that alternative game looks pretty meh for me personally.
Oh dear, this is not going well at all.
Well I guess my PS4 will be sitting in the box gathering dust for a while then
reminds me of the GT5 PS3 fiasco. I wont be burnt again. I haven’t pre ordered, and I wont even be bying until I hear that the game has decent sounds, and fixes the stupi arcade problems
Day One diary: flicked through the menu’s and added my PSN id….and then turned off console.
Day Two diary: Hackers got into my PSN account again, but fortunately they got away with nothing.
Day Three diary: switched on PS4 just to watch the pretty blue light bar on console and controller. Switched off and went outside……
Day Four diary: Decided the graphics outside just weren’t up to scratch. Not enough bloom and quick save wasn’t working properly. My life was corrupted.
Was hoping the PS4 would offer something better so I went back inside to try again.
Watch as the PS4 launch falls to the same fate as the WiiU’s. I don’t know why people thought this wouldn’t happen, it always does.
Going to hold off on getting a PS4. Will get the Xbox One on launch though, more games I am interested in on it.
