We Made Our Own Ad For Ellen Page’s New Video Game

Sure, video games these days can simulate hyper-realistic alien murder, but what about the life of a young actress? Ellen Page Simulator 2014 hopes to do exactly that, letting you shape the Canadian starlet’s personality, from what dolls she chooses to play with to working up the courage for her first kiss.

OK, Ellen Page Simulator 2014 isn’t actually the real name of a real game. The trailer you see above actually pulls clips from (in our opinion) the most interesting parts of this week’s new PlayStation 3 game Beyond: Two Souls, which stars Page, Willem Defoe and a host of other actors whose digital performances were turned into something that feels a little like a game and a lot like an interactive movie. That these scenes were more interesting than all of the big budget action scenes speaks to how well the game captures Page’s performance.
