We typically only see cosplayers when they’re dressed up at events like conventions — but they have lives outside of that, y’know. Homes. Sure, normally we’d never get to see a cosplayer’s pad, but thanks to a photography project called ‘Just The Two of Us’ by Klaus Pichler, we can.

“For this photo series I visited owners of elaborate costumes in their own owns. As a matter of fact, ‘Just The Two of Us’ deals with both: the costumes and the people behind them,” Pichler wrote on his website.

You can view all of the photographs in the project here, but here are a few standouts — some of these, you might’ve come across before, since the project has been going on since 2011:
